Art posted on ebay

  Now, there is some of my work on ebay. After a year of finding all the reasons not to use ebay, I ended up with a store there anyway. The biggest reason I did not want a relation with them is the fees the site has in place. Yes, they do charge you a lot to sell an item. However, the other storefront venues have so many hidden fees and constant, in your face come-on to buy, upgrade.. more more more, that you are only giving them a bunch of your money, and you still need to do all the work. Turns out that ebay is not so bad after all. So, here is the first batch of artworks to go up over there.  A short on one of these pieces: My wife and I were on a hike high in the  Colorado mountains. I saw this one type of plant and it caught my attention. Without my camera, it became a game of trying to recall how the plant looked later on while sitting at my art table. I had only a blurred impression left in my mind. I drew this piece from that. I am sure the real plant...

  Now... The gallery is at last setup and going. I was able to locate a site that was created by an artist, for artists. The site is Foundmyself. The site has a very nice look to it and is easy enough to navigate. I also like the method in place to allow the artists to directly interact with the public and potential buyers. To me this is important. If you like a certain piece of art I have listed, you can contact me directly and the owners of the server do not handle the process.  Also, if you buy that art, you would simply click on the button under it witch takes you directly to PayPal . PayPal puts that payment into my account that I have with them. They alert me that you bought that piece of art. I like this arrangement. Soon, I'll be in Colorado and am looking forward to the mountains and tall trees we have all around where we live. Last year, I started a new series called Colorado.
